An 1884 roundhouse stores the country’s most extensive collection of 19th century locomotives on a site known as the birthplace of American railroading. Collections include small artifacts like uniforms and timepieces, scale models, rail cars, and exhibits. The Mile One Express train ride along track laid in 1830, guided tours, and behind the scenes experiences provide a deep dive into the industry.
