With over 1,000 flowering trees gifted by Japan in 1926, this spring festival honors the enduring cultural ties between two nations. Hosted in West Fairmount Park, 
it features taiko drumming, kimono fashion shows, traditional tea ceremonies, and the Sakura Weekend. Each April it draws thousands to admire the peak cherry bloom.
