This site interprets the history of a World War II camp that could hold 400 U.S. citizens – most were Japanese-Americans wrongly suspected of disloyalty – and 4,000 prisoners of war and labor conscripts. The camp property discovered by Japanese Cultural Center volunteers contained 175 buildings and more than 400 tents.
