At the center of the Capitol Complex northeast of the Susquehanna River is a building that houses all three branches of government. The focal point of this American Renaissance style National Historic Landmark is a 52-million-pound dome that rises 272-feet-tall, topped with a 17-foot bronze Commonwealth statue. The interior rotunda features mosaic floors and walls adorned in murals.
