Planning a visit? Check out the Arizona Capitol Museum website.
More than 30 memorials along the Capitol Complex commemorate significant moments in the history of the Grand Canyon State. Its Capitol building, built in 1901, no longer houses any branch of government but operates as the Capitol Museum. Within this National Register of Historic Places designee, preserved offices and historic exhibits depict its evolution from Territory to 48th state.
While you're here, check out our U.S. Capitol Buildings Collection Album to have a dedicated spot for all 51 buildings.
