This lively stop along historic U.S. Route 66 is known for its retro storefronts and classic roadside charm. The town’s revival is tied to longtime barber Angel Delgadillo, known today as “The Guardian Angel of Route 66.” His efforts helped spark the movement to preserve Route 66 and bring visitors back to the small desert town. His father’s famous 1926 barber chair still remains on-site for the occasional cut.
