Nestled in the Mojave Desert, the Castle Mountains are home to pristine Joshua tree forests and desert grasslands. At one time purposed for mining, the land is now sanctuary to desert tortoises and stunning landscapes.  Jagged remnants of ancient volcanoes dot the horizon while spring brings wildflowers blanketing a sea of cacti and desert flora.
