This town, whose official name is Spanish is “The Pass of the Oaks,” was once a simple stop on the El Camino Real. Today, it has grown into a top-tier wine destination with over 200 wineries. This region has developed a reputation for Zinfandels in particular – the area’s heritage grape. Though celebrated for vineyards, the town has also become a noteworthy producer of olive oil in California.
