Rising to 14,115 feet above Colorado Springs, “America’s Mountain” often was the first Rocky Mountain peak spotted by westbound pioneers. An inspiration for “America the Beautiful,” views from the top can span five states. The up-top, state-of-the-art visitor center’s donuts are renowned as are the local Bighorn Sheep - Colorado’s largest herd.
