In less than one mile, this extreme trail gains over 2,000 feet in elevation and carries brave hikers and runners to the top of the foothills. The trail’s 2,744 steps are relics of a cable railway built in 1907 to carry materials to sites on Pikes Peak. A favorite amongst locals, athletes, and military members - a stunning view of the Eastern Plains and vigorous hike await those who make a reservation online to ascend “The Incline.”
