Adorning an alcove 600 feet above the floor of Soda Canyon, this cliff dwelling’s 38 rooms and two kivas teemed with the activities of about 30 residents during the 13th century. Visitors to the well-preserved site take guided summer tours that require ladder climbs, step ascents, a tunnel crawl and controlled fear of heights.
