Built in the shape of an ancient amphitheater, the Old Hall of the House is one of the earliest examples of Greek revival architecture in America. Today, it serves as the main exhibition space for the National Statuary Hall Collection, comprising two statues donated from each state to honor deceased citizens of historic, civil, or military renown.
