The namesakes for this Egan Range park are six beehive-shaped charcoal ovens that helped process silver ore in the late 1800s. Legend has it that they later sheltered outlaws. The ovens intrigue visitors, who fish for Willow Creek trout, hike, mountain bike, camp under the Great Basin stars, cross-country ski and snowshoe.
