Off the long basalt shoreline of the Oregon Coast highway sits a bowl-shaped rock formation that inhales and exhales with the tides. When the roof of this old sea cave collapsed, it left openings through which the Pacific Ocean surges and recedes. Most visually stunning at high tide or during storms, visitors must exercise caution on the slippery rock.
