One of three Haleakalā Crater cabins available for overnight rental, this structure’s location at the base of a verdant slope a rigorous 9.3-mile hike from its Summit District trailhead assures an unforgettable wilderness experience. The cozy cabin is rustic, with no electricity, bunk beds, a wood stove and a gas burner for cooking.
