Official Travel Stamp Vinyl Sticker
Viewable from Diamond Head Road, this concrete light completed in 1917 sits atop Honolulu’s extinct Diamond Head volcano. It is outfitted with a third-order Fresnel lens and casts both a white light and red sector light to guide mariners along Waikiki’s reefs and into Honolulu Harbor. It earned a place on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 but is automated and closed to visitors.
