Planning a trip? Check out the Forillon National Park website.
This coastal park on the tip of Quebec’s Gaspé Peninsula shelters seabirds like puffins, which burrow into the grassy, wind-swept cliffs. Once home to fishing families, it became the region’s first national park in 1970. Today, its cold currents feed marine ecosystems teeming with seals and whales. Remnants of heritage homesteads and WWII fortifications now hide among the dense boreal forests.
