This facility features more than 250 varieties of plants along with large-scale kinetic works and woodland paths. Its subterranean hall uses controlled daylight and curved concrete forms to highlight wire pieces and Calder’s early abstractions. Designed as an immersive landscape rather than a conventional gallery, the installations draw from the sculptor who helped define 20th-century art.
