This two-seat, twin engine fighter jet was the 711th of 712 built by the Grumman Corporation on Long Island. Delivered to the Navy in 1992, the supersonic, aircraft carrier-capable Tomcat served for 14 years and is spending its retirement in a museum that introduces visitors to more than 75 aircraft and spacecraft.
