Established by President Harrison, this forest serves as a critical watershed and recreation area for the Los Angeles region. It is home to over 100 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail, as well as iconic destinations like the 10,064-foot Mount Baldy, Los Angeles County’s highest peak. Over 700,000 acres host attractions like Switzer Falls, Mount Wilson Observatory, and the historic Bridge to Nowhere.
