This acclaimed wildlife attraction has evolved into one of the South’s most beloved zoological parks. Originally part of the 1884 World’s Fair grounds, it now proudly features over 2,000 animals, from white alligators to Sumatran orangutans. Its Louisiana Swamp exhibit is a submersion into the region’s unique wetland ecosystem, complete with native species and Cajun cultural storytelling.
