The official name is Cloud Gate, but once Chicagoans gave its shape a good look, many started calling it “the Bean.” The nickname stuck. Designed by an India-born British sculptor, the 110-ton, 33-foot-high, 66-foot-long stainless steel work of art located at the entrance to a downtown park mirrors the city’s breathtaking skyline and the sky above. Visitors love taking reflective selfies.
