Founded by Milton S. Hershey in the early 1900s as a model company town, this community grew around one of the world’s most iconic chocolate factories. The streets even have names like Cocoa and Chocolate Avenue. The nearby area still has the scent of cocoa from the facilities in the air. Hershey Park, made for employee recreation, is considered an early iteration of the modern theme park.
