Located near 14,130 feet atop North America’s highest paved road, the Crest House served as a snack bar and souvenir shop before it was damaged by fire. A trail from the nearby parking area leads to the 14,264-foot summit and awe-inspiring Rocky Mountain views. Road travelers (reservations required) spot sure-footed mountain goats.
