Introduced in 1934, this all-metal passenger monoplane helped relaunch Lockheed during the airline boom. It became a symbol of modern air travel and innovation and is best known as Amelia Earhart’s aircraft during her final flight. The Navy and Coast Guard used it to transport top officials. With only 148 made, surviving examples are rare.
