At the base of Mount Liberty, a unique one-way trail invites permitted visitors to experience up-close views of this natural gorge’s towering 90-foot-tall Conway granite walls, cascading waterfalls and colorful flowers, ferns and mosses. The moderate 2-mile loop traverses up the 800-foot Flume Gorge to several natural pools and a historic covered bridge.
