At 887 feet long and 45,000 tons, this Iowa-class battleship is one of the largest ever built. Having earned a total of 19 Battle and Campaign stars for service in World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Lebanon and the Persian Gulf, “Big J” is the most decorated ship in U.S. Navy history. Docked today in Camden, visitors embark on daily tours spanning more than one and half miles of America’s most intact battleship.
