The landscape of this park is sculpted by historic rivers and railways, with towering Rockies that divide the continent. At 30 metres high and 150 metres wide, the iconic Wapta Falls is the largest waterfall on the Kicking Horse River. Beyond the impressive waterfalls, visitors delight in emerald lakes, national heritage sites, and the quaint mountain community of Field, established in the 1880s.
