The northern tip of this picturesque island is home to the preserve and its granite North Point Lighthouse where visitors explore maritime museum exhibits and artifacts. The refuge is beloved by birders and anglers who cast their lines into Atlantic Ocean waters and freshwater ponds. Seals and white-tailed deer often are spotted.
