Mount Shuksan tops off at 9,131 feet, a relatively modest elevation compared to many other peaks in western North America. But its visibility from park overlooks, its dramatic geologic character and the snowfall-fed glaciers and snowfields clinging to its flanks make this North Cascades mountain one of the more memorable sights in the Pacific Northwest.
