Most travelers hurrying along I-84 give it little thought as they cross over a portion of this geologic gem. The Malad River plunges down a waterfall into the Devils Washbowl before continuing its flow through the chasm to the Snake River. The river-sculpted gorge is best viewed from a sturdy footbridge that crosses the scenic canyon.
