Planning a trip? Check out the Sue-meg State Park website.
Restored to its ancestral Yurok name in 2021, the area once known as Patrick’s Point occupies a forested Pacific Coast promontory and boasts rich natural and human histories. Seals and sea lions lounge on rocks in offshore waters used as a migration route by gray whales. Visitors take beach walks, hike the Rim Trail, probe tidal pools and explore Native American culture in a reconstructed Yurok village.
