At 14,259 feet, this alpine icon towers above the park’s almost 120 named mountains rising above 10,000 feet. Longs’ technical climbing routes challenge daring mountaineers from around the world. Hikers follow the yellow-and-red “fried eggs” marking the non-technical Keyhole Route to the expansive flat-topped summit.
