One of the park’s more prominent granite domes, Moro Rock stands sentry above Sequoia’s entrance and poses a challenge: Come on up. A stairway of stone and concrete leads up 350 steps to the summit overlook where visitors enjoy spectacular mountain views and colorful sunsets. Peregrine falcons nest on Moro Rock in the summer.
