Originally built in 1902 as the Durlin Hotel, this Route 66 landmark once served miners during Oatman’s gold boom. It is Mohave County’s only two-story adobe building. Local legend holds that newlyweds Clark Gable and Carole Lombard stayed here, and the so-called honeymoon suite remains popular. Outside, descendants of mining burros still wander freely past this historic hotel.
