Built in 1937 by the Works Progress Administration (WPA) during the Roosevelt Era, Cedar Forest Lodge is the park’s oldest building. Constructed from locally quarried limestone and cedar logs, the Lodge originally served as the Park’s headquarters and residence for the Park’s superintendent. Today, this National Historic Place continues to serve the community as a recreational hall and wedding venue.
