Planning a trip? Check out Tennessee State Parks,
Excavations indicate indigenous peoples lived in this section of the southern Eastern Highland Rim 10,000 to 12,000 years ago. Acres of hardwoods and open fields are crisscrossed by miles of paved and unpaved hiking and biking trails. The sprawling Tims Ford Lake is ideal for bass fishing and birding and the park’s public boat ramps and marinas facilitate access for water sports and recreation.
