Pickwick Dam on the Tennessee River created Pickwick Lake. The Tennessee Valley Authority led the dam’s construction and the creation of this park just south of the dam. The lake and its three swimming beaches host boaters, paddlers, and swimmers. Anglers visit annually for the The Sauger Fishing and Catfish World Championship Fishing Tournaments.
