Adjacent to the boundaries of Virgin Islands National Park is a preserve that protects mostly underwater habitats, including colorful coral reefs, in the clear tropical waters of St. John. Mangroves line much of the shoreline at Hurricane Hole, rich in marine life and one of the premier snorkeling destinations in this U.S. territory.
