Planning a trip? Check out the Slaton Harvey House at the Texas Historical Commission.
Built in 1912, this Mission Revival-style building originally served as a “Harvey House,” a national chain of restaurants that served travelers along the Santa Fe Railway route. Designed by Louis Curtiss, it is one of only six remaining Harvey House locations in Texas and operates as a one-of-a-kind bed and breakfast, event center, and museum.
