The “Secret City” harbored the Y-12 uranium enrichment plant, K-25 Gaseous Diffusion Plant, X-10 Graphite Reactor, and S-50 Liquid Thermal Diffusion Plant, and produced enriched uranium used in Little Boy. Among the accessible visitor sites is the International Friendship Bell honoring peace and unity between the US and Japan.
