Founded nearly a century ago, this wildlife sanctuary set along the Rio Grande spans 64 acres and houses over 900 animals from around the globe. Popular features include its multi-acre Elephant habitat and a penguin exhibit that mimics icy sub-Antarctic conditions. From Andean condors, Tasmanian devils, and Komodo dragons, this zoo provides immersive, educational wildlife encounters.
