Around the full moon, the 125-foot waterfall puts on a show called “moonbow,” when moonlight and spray from the falls create a rainbow effect. The Cumberland River attracts anglers, and visitors hike, take guided trail rides on horseback, search for gemstones and fossils, camp and enjoy sweeping views from a 1930s fire tower.
