Developed as a floodplain restoration project, this recent addition to the Tennessee State Park family has transformed farmland into a recreational haven. The park offers fishing, hiking, and birdwatching across nearly 860 acres. As a stopover for migratory birds, the newly planted hardwood groves and restored animal habitats reestablish wetland ecosystems in an area once dominated by agriculture.
