Grand entrance structures are not common in nationalparks, but placing one at the north entry to America’s first crown jewel seems appropriate. President Theodore Roosevelt laid the cornerstone for the 50-foot stone arch in 1903. The popular attraction seen for miles houses a time capsule containing a photo of T.R. and other items.
