Planning a trip? Check out the Lime Kiln Point State Park website.
The beacon atop the Lime Kiln Lighthouse tower was first beamed in 1919. Today, visitors tour the structure and admire the stunning scenery at one of the world’s premier land-based whale watching destinations, where orcas swim near the shoreline. Named for the area’s historic lime production operations, the park also offers hiking, paddling and exploration of a 19th-century kiln.
