Every Christmas Eve, this high desert art district is lined with farolitos and piñon fires. Rooted in regional Catholic and Pueblo traditions, this beloved event is a uniquely Southwestern ritual of light. Thousands move slowly through the flickering paper lanterns along the road. Soon the entire canyon becomes a festive procession 
that celebrates music, light, and peaceful reflection.
