Set between Olympic National Park and the Pacific, this small community was once branded the “Logging Capital of the World.” It averages 10 to 12 feet of rain each year, making it one of the wettest towns in the contiguous U.S. Its name comes from nearby river forks where three systems converge. Stephenie Meyer famously used this as the vampire-and-werewolf setting of the Twilight saga.
