The horizontal and vertical fissures adorning the north face of this sandstone monolith bring a game board to mind. Many visitors photograph one of Zion’s iconic landforms from one of the roadside viewing areas. Lucky hikers might spot a desert bighorn sheep as they ascend to a saddle below the summit that offers excellent views.
