The Ancient Puebloan people who etched images of humans, animals and other more mysterious designs into the park’s sandstone cliffs and rocks are long gone. Strollers along a pair of wheelchair-accessible boardwalks still feel their presence as they admire trailside rock art probably dating back to 300-1300 Common Era.
